I do. I love swimming. I'm in the middle of nationals at the moment, 50 (yard) Free, 200 Free and 100 Free.
I just did the 50 Free today. Was a little disappointed on my time, but it was my best so far.

If you consider it a sport I'm a rather avid curler, I've only ever made it to provinical level though. In addition I watch an awful lot of Hockey, both professional and Junior.

That's awesome. I thought curling was pretty interesting the first time I saw it- using basic physics to (hopefully) make a stone go where you want it to. Wikipedia says something about "chess on ice".
I swam as well in high school, and still do for exersize. I never really liked any one event, since I sucked at all of them, but I always thought fly ruled due to it being horribly inefficient and slow compared to freestyle. I'm not really cut out to be an athlete, though I do seem to be able to run abnormally well. I would never want to run track here in Texas though:) .

I play volleyball for the seniors in high school (we're pretty bad) but at my old high school (the team that I used to play with) won OFFSAA bronze. I also do track and field - triple, long jump and 100m dash. Also, I am going to attempt to break the world record for standing long jump (3.71m) this spring.

Sweet.
And Nathan, Buttefly is the second fastest stroke, with freestyle being the first. It gets more efficient when you ... eh ... get really good at it. Which I'm not.

I used to play sports a lot more than a do now. Personally, I love football - though I'm not on a team at the moment.

pickup hockey, football, road hockey
nothing serious just group of friends - cant stand those raving hockey parents (someone ought to do a good in depth study on them, interesting breed they are)

There isn't one stroke faster than another, it's how fast and efficient a person can go through the strokes. I remember watching a swim meet and it was a freestyle race where the person who won was doing the backstroke. For most people, yes, front crawl is the fastest.:)
